We encourage collaboration between vocational, higher education, and university institutions, industry, and governments. By 2030, we will train an additional 2,000 technicians together with all partners in South Holland. In this way, we strengthen the future of the semiconductor industry together.

A strong semiconductor industry in three action lines:

1. Expansion of training offerings

The number of training positions is being expanded with new vocational and higher education programs specifically focused on the microchip sector. We are also jointly investing in targeted recruitment campaigns.

2. Lifelong Learning (LLL)

We are developing a Semicon Learning Point where all training providers in South Holland align their course offerings with the sector's demand. The government has allocated an additional 2.8 million euros for further development.

3. Semiconductor laboratory facilities

In Delft, we are creating a shared education cleanroom. Students will learn to work with the latest technologies from the semiconductor industry here, in collaboration with businesses.
